WHO WE ARE
Canadian Women in Private Equity is an committee within the CVCA formed to
(i) promote the entry, advancement, development and retention of women in private equity, and
(ii) provide a forum for women in private equity to
(a) network and make business connections, and
(b) exchange business ideas, knowledge and opinions.
Currently, the organization arranges 3 to 4 networking and educational events each year, including both wine and cheese cocktail events and lunch and learn sessions on particular topics of interest. In addition to our annual events, our short term goals include
(i) setting up branches in the following city centres: Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal; and
(ii) furthering our networking mission by becoming a Linked In group and by creating profiles for our members.

Jane will talk about OTPP and how her career path positioned her for the leading private equity job in Canada. Event takes place in Toronto.
