Current Opportunity Cascadia Equity Partners is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Private Equity Analyst to join their tight-knit team. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the firm’s Managing Partner and Private Equity Associate in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in analyzing financial data, building models, forecasting and conducting in-depth industry research – with an awareness of how macro-level events, such as political or economic policies, impact market trends and company performance. An interest in emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), is highly valued, as the firm actively monitors how innovation is shaping investment landscapes. This individual will play a key role in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence and supporting portfolio management. The position offers hands-on experience in market research, financial modeling and strategic planning, while providing exposure to a broad range of industries and direct contribution to Cascadia’s continued success. Responsibilities -Drafted investment memoranda to support internal investment committee decisions; -Assessed and structured potential deals, including due diligence and valuation analysis; -Built and maintained financial models to evaluate investment performance and returns; -Supported bank reporting requirements and liaised with financing partners as needed; -Participated in full deal lifecycle from sourcing through to closing and post-investment monitoring; -Prepare documentation and presentation materials to support investment recommendations, including utilization of PowerPoint; -Monitor portfolio investments and support investor relations activities; -Provide administrative and technical support to team members and portfolio companies as required. What You Need To Succeed -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field; -You must have hands on experience and a minimum of 12-24+ months of combined experience in investment banking, private equity or a related field, including co-op placements or relevant internships; -Solid understanding of finance and investment principles, including financial modelling and valuation techniques; -Demonstrated interest in AI and emerging technologies, with the ability to assess their potential impact on investment opportunities and operational efficiencies; -Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience – able to build and maintain financial models and presentations; -Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; -Ability to work independently and as part of a team; -Ability to manage and prioritize multiple objectives within tight deadlines; -Position requires the successful candidate to work in-office Monday through Friday.
