Volunteer Committee Canadian Women in VC Thank you for your interest in joining the Women in VC volunteer committee for the 2025 – 2027 calendar year. This two year commitment is your opportunity to help connect and enrich the Canadian Women in VC community. Let’s recap: Who we are: Canadian Women in Venture Capital (CWVC) is a national, grassroot organization dedicated to the retention and promotion of women in Venture Capital. What we do: Our community is for Canadian women in Venture Capital to connect, collaborate and engage with new opportunities. We host events throughout the year for women in the industry to connect and we publish resources for our community to leverage in their career growth. Our impact: 400+ women are in our membership base, across 200+ funds Upskilled 250+ members over the years through our annual bootcamp initiative (see 2025’s recap here) We published a Parental Leave Policy with CVCA to help establish standards and to support industry retention Every year we host 10+ events across chapter cities every year, bringing our members together 50+ professionals and industry experts have been invited to speak at events and share their stories with our community We publish the longest-running annual venture compensation report in Canada, powered by our compensation survey We mapped the career progression of our members and published a report on the state of female talent in the industry We are currently recruiting for roles across core teams: Community and Marketing Team: Spearhead strategies to help build CWVC’s brand, generate content on socials, and build partnerships in the ecosystem Learning & Growth Team: Support the delivery of CWVC programming alongside our team, including core initiatives such as the Champions Mentorship Program, the Compensation Report, the PropelHER Bootcamp, and the Pulse Survey Finance & Sponsorship Team: Support sponsor communication and relationships, as well as facilitate finance & operations (More details on each of the roles and responsibilities on page 2). This open call is available to all of our members, irrespective of geography, level of seniority, or type of role (platform/investment/ops).
