TORONTO – December 14, 2021 - The Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA) is pleased to announce its refreshed digital publication is now live. This latest update to CVCA Central includes changes to the layout, categorization, the addition of a user-submitted content community, and technical enhancements to produce and host dynamic and interactive data visualizations.
CVCA’s goals for the publication have not changed. CVCA Central is the association’s official publication and the primary information hub for the Canadian private capital industry and exists to arm and equip venture capital and private equity professionals with high-quality information, perspectives, and analysis. It will continue to host updates from individual and organizational leaders in the industry.
In recent years, the most urgent and compelling stories, such as the spread of COVID-19, have been driven by data. Our members and stakeholders are now looking for increased substance in our content; providing information and analysis to help inform about the happenings in private investment, our larger ecosystem, and our domestic and global economy. The data visualization enhancements on the new CVCA Central are designed to meet this expectation.
“Our refreshed CVCA Central website presents an overall improved user experience and we're excited to have it out in the market,” said Kim Furlong, Chief Executive Officer, CVCA. “We're particularly looking forward to telling the stories that exist in CVCA's own in-house data and other sources as well as providing a dedicated space for professionals to engage within the new community hub.”
The new CVCA Central will also be home to a new Community Hub which will allow those in VC and PE to read and contribute to a community of user-submitted industry-related content such as blogs, podcasts, news articles, videos, events, and more. This is a spot to interact with the Canadian private capital industry with a new news feed curated by the CVCA editorial team.
“We worked hard to make sure the new website contained everything necessary to provide valuable perspectives, information, and analysis to assist our members and the ecosystem, and we’re happy it’s live,” said Jon Jackson, Head of Communications, CVCA. “The new CVCA Central features a refreshed look, improved navigation along with some new features which will make the overall experience more impactful across devices.”
