The CVCA is a member-driven organization. The private capital industry does face some tough challenges, but we can determine our future through the commitment of our diverse and experienced membership.

Committee Participation & Eligibility

CVCA committees help guide our initiatives and graciously contribute to our programming and services. More than 100 CVCA members from across Canada assist the association each year by serving on our committees for a three-year term. These volunteers work together to keep our industry thriving and competitive.

  • Committee members shall serve 3‑year terms
  • 50% minimum participation required
  • Participation will be reviewed annually
  • A temporary one-year leave is permitted, e.g., family leave

  • Required to be a CVCA Member; non-members are not permitted
  • Subject matter expertise may be an asset on certain committees
  • Geography, investing stage, diversity, and sponsorship will be considered during the selection process
