NEW Canadian Women in Private Capital Awards
CVCA is pleased to announce the introduction of a new set of awards dedicated to honouring deserving women who’ve demonstrated a commitment to professional excellence and championing women in Canadian private capital.
We recognize that the word “women” may be used as an identifier for some but not all. We understand the imperfection of language, and when we use the word women, it is our intention to welcome cis women, non-binary, agender, and intersex persons.
Separate from CVCA’s existing awards program, the Canadian Women in Private Capital Awards seeks to identify, recognize, and celebrate the achievements and contributions of exemplary women in our industry at a new annual recognition reception, to take place on International Women’s Day on March 8.
Nominations are now open for two award categories, with one award in each category reserved for each asset class in the membership. The deadline to nominate for the Canadian Women in Private Capital awards is January 27 at 5P ET. Winners will be chosen by CVCA’s established Awards Committee and will be notified ahead of the event on March 8.
Further details, and the ability to register for the March 8 event will be shared in early February.
