Given Stack’s recent funding of $110 million through its IPO in June 2021, we’re looking for a Finance Manager who can “roll up their sleeves” and work with our small but growing team, with a solutions-oriented mindset, and positive attitude to take the lead operational accounting and finance role supporting the CFO.

The Finance Manager position will be hybrid in nature; primary responsibility will involve taking the lead on the accounting and finance function of Stack including full-cycle accounting, analysis, regulatory and tax compliance. Secondarily, the Finance Manager will work alongside the Investment Team at Stack Capital.


Lead and execute on all aspects of full-cycle accounting, analysis, regulatory, and tax compliance for Stack. Roles and responsibilities include, among many:

- Communicate with all divisions of the company as needed

- Lead and implement timely month-end close process and plan including recording and reconciling accounting entries in the accounting system and ensure data entry is accurate and timely

- Co-lead with the CFO, a revised look at all accounting processes, systems, and tech and support in the implementation of new processes, systems, and technologies with an eye on making internal processes more efficient

- Lead and implement all budgeting and cash flow forecasting activities

- Lead, execute quarterly financial reporting process and year-end financial audit

- Involvement and growth potential in investment analysis of current and future portfolio companies


- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate accounting (i.e. full cycle, analysis, etc.)

- Experience dealing with a fund or public company reporting is an asset

- University degree and Professional Accounting Designation

- Tech savvy and ability to hit the ground running in an execution oriented role with full-cycle controllership services

- Experience in treasury management related to accounts payable and payroll processing
